Welcome to Dewey International Studies School! Dewey is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes high levels of academic achievement with a focus on international studies.  
 
Dewey has a diverse student population with an increasing number of students who speak more than one language. We honor our core values: Diversity, Respect, Academic Achievement, Growth, Opportunity, Nurturing, and Success (D.R.A.G.O.N.S.). Dewey offers a variety of international activities including foreign language classes and our annual International Festival. We are also committed to providing a well-rounded education with high expectations in Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies. 
 
We invite you to participate in your child's learning by getting involved in the classroom, checking weekly progress reports, reading classroom newsletters, utilizing Pearson's online curriculum, joining the PTO meetings, volunteering at the school and communicating with your child's classroom teacher. Our goal is to involve you in your child's education and work together to maximize every child's experience and success at Dewey.
